Faith V. Easter
Faith V. Easter is an Officer and former President of the firm. She focuses her practice on servicing the needs of commercial lenders, corporate entities, private and family owned businesses in a variety of transactional matters. These include real estate transfer, financing, retail and commercial leasing for national landlords and small family-owned businesses such as restaurants, dental practices, dry cleaners, and franchisee representation.
Within the region Ms. Easter is recognized as a true advocate for individuals in their commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning, and guiding some clients as they start up their own companies, and then nurturing their success.
Many major banks and community lenders in the area turn to Ms. Easter to document their most sophisticated loans, bridge financing and restructuring, and to seek her advice on complex environmental issues. She has guided developers through the acquisition and financing of everything from small residential projects through large shopping centers, addressing the many issues that arise from such activities.
Ms. Easter is well versed in corporate matters, from choice of business entity through succession planning. Established and emerging businesses rely upon her sharp business acumen and expertise in the negotiation of franchise agreements and complex business agreements. She also draws upon the diverse resources available within Fletcher Tilton to ensure that client’s needs outside her areas of practice are addressed, and closely monitors their resolution. Most importantly, however, is the personal attention and service that Ms. Easter provides to each and every client, making them feel like they are her only client. This attention extends to every aspect of their lives including considerations of family issues, estate and succession planning.
Ms. Easter is also committed to serving the communities in which she works and lives. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Metrowest YMCA, she is a former board member of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, the Framingham History Center and the Hopkinton Community Endowment, Inc., and a former fellow Trustee of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
Ms. Easter is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the South Middlesex Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is resident in the firm’s Framingham office. Ms. Easter earned her B.S. in 1980 with honors from Northeastern University and earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1985.
