Todd E. Brodeur is a Transactional Attorney and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. His practice focuses on the disposition, acquisition, leasing, development, and financing of commercial real estate and corporate assets. For more than 20 years, Mr. Brodeur has represented institutions, developers, retailers, individual investors, and lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Mr. Brodeur routinely guides clients through the local zoning approvals process and regularly appears before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Appeals. Whether it is obtaining permits for a new bank with drive through, or a 118 unit residential housing project, or a 600,000 square foot warehouse project, Mr. Brodeur enjoys the challenge of pushing through the regulatory approval process.

Mr. Brodeur earned his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College. He graduated from Suffolk University Law School. During his time in law school, Mr. Brodeur was the recipient of a Public Interest Group Fellowship and served as a student attorney for the Public Defender’s Office. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Mr. Brodeur is a member of the Worcester Bar Association and Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts. He was named a three-time Rising Star, Top Massachusetts Lawyers by Boston Magazine and a three-time Real Estate Rising Star by Law & Politics Magazine. In 2013, the Worcester Business Journal named him among the Top 40 Under Forty. In September 2023, Todd received a New England Legal Award for Best Mentor, presented by ALM.com and Law.com for his dedication to preparing the next generation of leaders. That same year Mr. Brodeur was recognized as a Go To Real Estate Lawyer by MA Lawyers Weekly.

Active in his community, Mr. Brodeur demonstrates his commitment to civic engagement through his service on several boards. He dedicated 15 years to the EcoTarium’s Board of Trustees, including serving as Board Chair. Currently, he serves as a Director of the Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation and has been a member of the Shrewsbury, MA. Board of Assessors since 2012.

  • Successful permitting of a major warehouse project (620,000 sq feet) straddling three towns.
  • Represented major retail chains in the permitting of several locations throughout the state.
  • Represented a lender with franchise financing of over 50 franchises and over $25 million in assets in a complicated transaction that included properties in several states, leasehold mortgages and interest rate swaps.
  • Worked with banks to permit and acquire bank branch locations.
  • Represented developer in permitting major Kelly Square project in Worcester MA, bringing a mixed use project to life.
  • Represented mall owner in obtaining permits to replace historic anchor tenant with medical center.
