Donna Truex is an experienced real estate attorney with an extensive transactional and title background. She has over 25 years experienced representing buyers, sellers, developers and lenders in the sale, acquisition, financing, development and leasing of real estate throughout the country. Before joining Fletcher Tilton, Donna spent 5 years as underwriting counsel for a prominent title insurance company. Ms. Truex has worked on complex matters, including affordable housing and construction projects and bond and Tax Credit financing. She is proficient in the permitting and licensing and is creative to meet her clients’ needs in this every changing landscape while maintaining compliance with regulatory schemes. Donna is committed to providing her clients with exceptional service, sound and practical advice, and employs a team approach to create economy and efficiency.
Ms. Truex earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University and her JD from Western New England University School of Law. During law school she was named Who’s Who Among American Law Students for three years and served on Law Review. She is admitted to practice law in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Ms. Truex is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts and the president of the Weston Women’s Club. She presented at the 2016 Worcester Women’s Leadership Conference and was an introductory speaker at the 2018 Worcester Women’s Leadership Conference. She was quoted in the Worcester Chamber News (2020) and has had articles published in Worcester Business Journal and Lawyer’s Weekly (2019). Ms. Truex’s was the chair of the Worcester Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association and served on the Board of Directors of YOU, Inc. for 15 years.
