Fletcher Tilton attorneys Rosemary Tootell and Anthony Moroso joined dozens of professionals at Shrewsbury High School’s annual Career Fair today, engaging with hundreds of students eager to explore potential career paths in the legal profession.
The event, held in the SHS Commons, welcomed over 415 students from grades 9-11 across three sessions throughout the morning. As representatives of one of the region’s distinguished law firms, Tootell and Moroso provided valuable insights into the diverse opportunities available in the legal field.
The Fletcher Tilton attorneys engaged with students during all three sessions, answering questions about education requirements, day-to-day responsibilities, and the realities of legal practice. Their table featured informational materials about different legal specialties and potential internship opportunities.
The SHS Career Fair, featuring 43 businesses and professions, has become an annual tradition that helps students envision potential career paths they might not have considered otherwise. The event was particularly valuable for the underclassmen, while seniors participated in a separate Career Planning Forum held in the Anthony Bent Presentation Room.
Fletcher Tilton, with its long history of community engagement, sees participation in events like the Career Fair as an extension of its commitment to the communities it serves. The firm also expressed interest in potential summer internship and job shadow opportunities for students who showed particular interest in legal careers.
