Alicia Hoffman is an Associate in the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice, where she focuses on estate planning, elder law, estate and trust administration, probate, and related tax matters.
Ms. Hoffman earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University, with a minor in Legal Studies and Psychology.
She began her legal career at Lahti, Lahti & O’Neill, where she concentrated on estate planning, elder law, estate taxation, trust administration, and probate. Ms. Hoffman later worked with a law firm representing charitable organizations, advising on the management and administration of charitable bequests. Seeking to return to direct client representation, she joined a Rhode Island–based private practice, where she further strengthened her experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration before joining Fletcher Tilton.
Ms. Hoffman is passionate about working with individuals and families to provide clarity and peace of mind through thoughtful estate planning, as well as guidance and support during difficult times involving estate or trust administration. She has been recognized for her work as a Rhode Island Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2022 and 2023 and was named to Rhode Island Monthly’s Professional Excellence in Law list for Wills, Trusts, and Estates in 2025.
