Team Fletcher Tilton Runs the "Klepto 5k"
Featuring William D. Jalkut on October 20, 2019Team Fletcher Tilton runs and walks Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the 9th Annual “Klepto”5k to benefit the Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to honor the life of Major David Brodeur by providing Auburn public school students with scholarships and grants for academic, leadership, community and extra-curricular activities. Brother to Fletcher Tilton attorney Todd Brodeur and son of retired Fletcher Tilton attorney Larry Brodeur, Air Force Major David L. Brodeur died April 27, 2011 at Kabul Airport, in Kabul, Afghanistan. Major Brodeur was an F-16 instructor, Flight Commander, and Weapons ADO for the 18th Aggressor Squadron. He was a Senior Pilot with more than 1600 flight hours in fighter aircraft and he flew combat missions during the initial days and months of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Among his commendations and awards are the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, and Combat Action Medal. Major Brodeur was given pilot handle “Klepto” because of his reputation for staging elaborate pranks. He was a true American hero.“I am grateful for the support of my colleagues,” says Todd Brodeur. “They turn out every year to support this event—what a great group of people.”
