Elena J. Despotopulos is an Associate in the firm’s Transactional Group. She focuses her practice on commercial lending. In addition, Ms. Despotopulos also practices in commercial and residential real estate, including sales, acquisition, and leasing. Ms. Despotopulos is located in the Worcester offices.
Ms. Despotopulos earned her B.A. in History from Assumption College. She earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, with a concentration in Business and Commercial Law. While in law school, Ms. Despotopulos served as a legal intern for Hon. Judge John T. Lu of the Superior Court, the Massachusetts Securities Division, UMass Medical School’s Commonwealth Medicine’s Strategic Growth and Business Development Unit, and a Worcester-based law firm.

Significant Representation and Achievements
Ms. Despotopulos was the Online Forum Editor of the Northeastern University Law Review. She published several short articles in her capacity as Forum Editor. Ms. Despotopulos was also the Chair of Women’s Law Caucus during her time at Northeastern. She recently participated in the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Tiered Community Mentoring Program. Ms. Despotopulos is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association and the Worcester Economic Club.
