Attorney Michael Lahti Joins Board of Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Featuring Michael T. Lahti on November 16, 2018Attorney Michael T. Lahti of Fletcher Tilton PC has recently joined the Board of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Kerry Ann Goldsmith, Executive Director of Devereux, welcomed Mr. Lahti to the Board at its first meeting of the current year in September. Ms. Goldsmith expressed her delight in having Mr. Lahti join the Board citing his clear interest in and commitment to our mission, the importance of his professional expertise, and his close ties to many of the communities served by Devereux throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Members of the Board commented that Mr. Lahti represented all the characteristics essential to building and sustaining a high quality Board to provide advice, counsel and advocacy for Devereux’s services to those in need.
Ms. Goldsmith also noted that Mr. Lahti’s involvement with Devereux continues a long-standing relationship with Fletcher Tilton, a full-service law firm which is a leader in supporting non-profits and community enhancements. Along with its many other areas of specialized practice, Fletcher Tilton’s Special Needs practice group and its Elder Law practice group are well-respected throughout the region. As an Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney practicing in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Mr. Lahti says “I am honored to join Devereux and for the opportunity to help the organization and the families it serves.”
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a non-profit organization that provides special education and compassionate, clinically-advanced care for individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. The organization has been meeting important needs in the community for over a half century. Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally accredited regional division of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized leader in behavioral health services.
