Fletcher Tilton attorneys draw on our depth of experience in mediation, litigation and pre-trial arguments. With that experience, we understand how important it is to be responsive and keep our clients updated during what is inevitably a difficult process. Practicing exclusively in Probate and Family Court, our first goal is to reach a settlement without pursuing litigation, as we recognize the pain involved in what is inevitably a difficult process. We understand how important it is to be responsive and keep our clients updated. Representing clients in divorce as well as actions and agreements surrounding divorce proceedings, we regularly handle the modification of existing judgments, custody, visitation and removal actions, and paternity actions. We also draw up pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
In addition, we are skilled in all areas of domestic relations, including abuse prevention orders (209A actions), temporary orders, restraining orders and contempt actions.
Our services are valued outside the courtroom as well. One attorney in our group was selected to serve as a Special Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Our family law attorneys serve as mediators to parties seeking an alternative to traditional litigation. A Fletcher Tilton attorney coordinates a local bar association conciliation program that assigns family law attorneys to encourage both parties in disputed court cases to agree to a judge’s recommendation.
